Dear Visitor:
Welcome !
I am Alexis Mora from Costa Rica. My mother tongue is Spanish, but I have been learning English for the last four years. I never imagined how much learning a second language would change my life. I am sure that if you have learned a second or third language, you will know what I'm talking about.
I would like to share with you some of the things that I write. I am not a professional writer, but I feel the urge to write.
What do I write about?
I like writing about little details of real life that sometimes people don't pay attention to, simple things. I do it simply as a way to release emotions and reactions towards the environment that surrounds me. I also like creative writing like short stories, fables, and fairy tales.
Below, there is a poem that I wrote about love. While writing it, I tried to put into practice what I have been learning about poetry in a course called Introduction to English Literature at Universidad Nacional, Costa Rica.
